Adopt a Homeless Dog Like Cuddlebug

Isn't Cuddlebug (above) just the cutest little thing? She is a young beagle / Australian Cattle dog looking for a forever home. She is currently staying at a foster home sponsored by the Close to Home Animal Rescue in McDonald, Ohio. Before being fostered, she was malnurished and not healthy. However, after being taken in, she has gained weight and happiness. Now, all she need is a home to stay in ... forever.

The Close to Home Animal Rescue is the charity of choice for our fellow Crafting for Animals Guild member Kate of A Dying Art Co. The Close to Home Animal Rescue is a network of foster homes for animals in the Ohio area. These animals have a hard time finding homes and would love to find their perfect fit. If Cuddlebug isn't for you, check out several other cats and dogs that they are currently fostering.

For the month of October, the Crafting for Animals Guild has teamed up with the Close to Home Animal Rescue in an effort to help their animals find forever homes and raise funds for their organization.

From October 23-29, over 20 members of the Crafting for Animals Guild have agreed to donate 10% of your purchase to the Close to Home Animal Rescue when you use coupon code 10CTH-CFA during checkout. More details are here.

The author of this post, El of Tantalizing Stitches, loves animals and is the guild master of the Crafting for Animals Guild. 5% of sales at Tantalizing Stitches (home of bag making supplies) is donated to animal charity. In addition, Tantalizing Stitches will be accepting the CFA coupon.

Adorable...the others in the photos are so precious too. I hope a lot of them get adopted this month or some time soon anyway. Sure would be wonderful if they all could be adopted and have joy in their life again, with love and hugs. At least the CTHAR is taking good care of them until then. Keep up the great work everyone!
