July 2009 Newsletter: Officially Summer

July - the heart of summer
Summer is officially here. What are you doing? Let us know so we can create an article to publicize Crafting for Animals. Cutsie Poochie shared a great exprience she had when volunteering at a local animal shelter. The article is here.

Do you blog?
Have you seen an increase in posts on the guild blog? Thanks to some of our members, we have cross-posted some blog posts on our blog. We'd love to have you published on our blog as well. If you are interested, send El a direct link to the posts you are willing to share and we'll place it on our blog :) You'll get double the exposure :)

Take a look at these posts:

Congrats to CherryTree
Thanks to bagsandmorebypam for our latest post on our featured member Cherry Tree. Check out our wonderful member from the United Kingdom here!

Do you have a pet?
Humans don't count :) but if you have any animals that you share a home with, send me a pic of them - I'll be highlighting member pets on the blog and you know they'd love the attention. (That's my little one!)

Any Artfire tips and tricks?
Have you learned a neat trick on artfire that you want to share? If so, let me know and I'll post it on our CFA guild blog.

If any of you have experience in advertising on Artfire or Handmade News let me know your experience. I am sure other members are curious to see whether its worth their while.

Welcome!

Please welcome Cutsie Poochie, our latest member to the guild - she designs clothing and accessories for pets and donates a portion of her proceeds to animal rescue groups.
